Greetings! I am Rick Amorey, and today I am writing here to talk about concrete polishing.
First of all, let me clarify: I am not a concrete polishing contractor. I am simply someone who, at one point, decided to have my floor tiles removed. I saw the nearly untouched concrete underneath, and one thing lead to another. Now I really like polished concrete, and I believe everyone should at least check it out.
Now what makes polished concrete stand out? Why is it a lot better than many other floor types out in the market today? There are a lot of factors, really, but lucky you! I'll talk about them one by one.
First off, polished concrete floors are the epitome of class. They are absolutely beautiful, with its semi-reflective sheen and its dyeing compatibility. Its polish also allows you to use less artificial light in your home, letting the sunlight dance gracefully on your floor.
There's also its definite cost-efficiency. Unless you plan on doing the diamond tooling yourself, you don't actually purchase new materials. If you remove your carpet or tile, you will mostly find concrete underneath your house. So, the only thing you actually pay for is the service of the contractor that will work the magic on your floor.
You would also notice the low upkeep needed for polished concrete. The concrete polishing process itself locks the concrete shut, keeping all the nasty dust and making the material tougher overall; you just need to learn how to sweep every once in a while.
Lastly, as I've just hinted at, concrete as a material is already quite durable. And as the polishing process strengthens this even further, you won't mind your concrete deteriorating at all. As for the polish? It'll stay. Trust me. - 15359
