I have got to tell you about this nature site!

By Mary R Stewart

Let me tell you about a really great website I stumbled across last week. It is all about travel, animals, and the beauty that can be found in the world all around us. Even if you aren't planning an overseas adventure of your own, this site will allow you to explore strange and wonderful new lands, and get an idea of how vast our planet really is.

The first article I saw was about Australia, and Australia has always fascinated me. They have some of the most unique wildlife on the planet, such as the kangaroo. But the uniqueness extends beyond the land, also, because the Australian coastal areas also have life forms that you won't find anywhere else in the world.

Africa is a rich continent. And I don't mean to imply that is only a monetary wealth, although one must point out that Africa is the largest source of diamonds in the world. But the wealth goes much farther, including a historical heritage that stretches back to the earliest tribes of mankind.

The United States of America is a wonderfully diverse country. If you are planning to travel soon, this may be the place to go. Mountain ski trips, ocean diving, or just a leisurely game of golf on a world famous course, you'll find something of interest in the United States.

If animals are your thing, this website has a lot to offer as well. I have always enjoyed learning about the different kinds of wildlife from all over the world. From alligators in the southern United States to zebras in Africa, this site seems to have a bit of everything, for everyone. I don't know about you, but I really enjoy enjoy learning about the different animals, and why they evolved to be the way they are.

Island get-aways hold a certain romantic attraction for most of us. From Cancun to the South Pacific, this website talks about some of the most popular beaches to be found. And it's not just talk, either, because there are some truly beautiful photos to go with the articles. Take a look for yourself, and you will see what I mean.

Have you ever heard of the Palm Islands? They are the largest man-made masses in the world, and are being built near Dubai. These aren't true islands, because they can be reached from the mainland, but instead are being built to extend from the Dubai area out into the ocean. Simply put, there is nothing else on the planet that man has built which is as ambitious as these islands.

If you enjoy exotic places, this website will entertain you for hours. From beaches to forests, mountains to snowscapes, this site features everybody's favourite locations. The picture alone are wonderful to browse through, and the information provided about each location can be indispensable if you are planning to travel in the near future. - 15359
