What can I do to reduce my risk of infection?
Avoid raw or undercooked eggs. Cook poultry, beef and pork thoroughly. Separate uncooked meats from produce and cooked foods. Wash all produce, including melons with cold water and a vegetable brush. If you dont wash the outside, bacteria on the surface may be pushed into the inner flesh. To avoid cross contamination while preparing meat and produce, use separate cutting boards and utensils. Wash wooden cutting boards in hot, soapy water for at least 20 seconds before storing. If the Product is defective in any way or has a fault, a full replacement or refund will of course be made at no charge. If a product is faulty, please notify us by email at: or phone 0116 233 7775 for assistance. Please do note that you should check all products for faults before and signing for them with the courier. Due the environment that some worktops will be stored in (such as houses being renovated, new builds, etc.) products can easily become damaged.

Do you have any other apartments?
Yes, in the same premises as the maisonette apartment, we have a delightful Studio apartment with authentic wooden beams and own en-suite shower and wc. The Studio sleeps up to 4 persons and full details can be found here on our website at We also have a spacious 2nd floor apartment which can sleep up to 6 persons, with large living room and dining area, full fitted kitchen and bathroom with bath and shower.

My kitchen floor is wooden floorboards, can I still fit this stone?
Yes, but your floor needs to reinforced to stop any localised movement which would cause the stone to fracture. Special adhesives and grouts are available that absorb vibration and allow us to fit on wooden substrates. Exact details on reinforcement depends on the existing condition and structure of your floor - We'll quite happily provide advice and feel free to contact me should you need it.Some say age 3, others say age 2. In our experience, as soon as a child is walking he or she will be interested in a wooden play kitchen.

What is the market development of FSC?
Markets in north-west Europe, especially the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany, are becoming strongly aware of certification. There are also emerging north American markets. A growing number of products are already available, such as wooden kitchen utensils, doors, frames etc. As more forests are certified, the number of products will rapidly increase.Since the mix does not contain any gluten, we have to use alternative ingredients, such as xanthan gum. A heavy steel spoon works best in our experience as a whisk can get bogged down and become difficult to maneuver.

Can I use wooden surfaces in my kitchen?
Wooden surfaces are unsuitable in kitchens because they are absorbent and incapable of being thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. The best way to tell if your ballast is running too hot is to take a wooden kitchen match and touch to the ballast box. If it ignites the match then it is operating too hot. I would recommend having it looked at by a professional or have it serviced at your local hydro shop. Yes if heat is already a problem in your garden then I would suggest moving your ballasts outside the grow room. Especially if there is more than 1. They can really increase the overall room temperature. - 15359
